Happy Friday!

How was everyone's week?! Mine was actually pretty good! I had a goal this week to reach 700 followers on Instagram and I did with your help! This won't be the last time I say it. ☺️

Now for today's round up. I keep thinking about how there's only two weeks left to share amazing Christmas themed blog posts and it makes me sad! But, it has been giving me TONS of ideas for next year that I can't wait to try so it's all good. ☺️

Life:

Behind all of the decorations, sweet treats, and gift shopping is a ton of stress that people hold onto during the holidays. It's also super hard to avoid. However, there are ways to combat it! I loved this post from New Darlings because they share three awesome ways to rid your holiday stress!

My favorite Christmas Pajamas

Thursday, December 14, 2017

Happy Thursday!

Every year my mom buys me pajamas for Christmas. She always finds the cutest ones too! Now, she didn't buy the ones I'm about to share but she did find this adorable bedding from Bealls. The pajamas below are from Aerie. I have always loved shopping at Aerie! What I love the most is their brand. I love how they promote actual women of every size and shape. They also don't photo shop their models which I think is amazing!

The second I saw these online, I had to have them. You guys know I love a good pun and this sweatshirt is a good pun. Haha! In addition to these pajamas being cute, they are also incredibly soft. They are probably the softest pajamas I own. To top it off, I had to get the matching socks because why not. 😂 Diesel also liked them and the bedding. ☺️

Christmas Decorating + Traditions

Wednesday, December 13, 2017

Happy Wednesday!

Chandler and I have been living together for two years and I have always found it hard to decorate our apartment. I have never been able to decorate a home that is "temporary" unless it's for a holiday like Christmas. I can't wait to be in a more permanent home so that I can go all out! Haha!

Today I wanted to share with you how we decorated our home for the holidays. This year, Diesel got his own stocking from Bowkey Works, and my aunt found the most perfect pillows for our couch!

The first photo shares a tradition Chandler and I started last year, an ornament exchange. We thought it would be fun to get each other a new ornament each year that we think fits the other person. We haven't done it yet this year, but I think we're going to this weekend!

Chandler's grandmother, Mimi, gave this to me and it is so accurate!

Since I was little, I have always loved advent calendars. My mom always had really cute ones that would have some Christmas themed image behind each door. Last year I found this adorable one from Target. Every day we move the moose! ☺️

Now that Diesel is a year old, we finally told him what Mistletoe was and as you can tell he liked it! He even got a kiss in before Chandler!

Lulu's Sequin Party Dress

Tuesday, December 12, 2017

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I haven't been feeling too well this week. It's gotten a little chilly here in Florida (well chilly to us haha) and my body isn't really okay with that. Diesel's isn't either, so he's decided the last two nights that he's going to sleep with us. The thing is, when Diesel sleeps with us, he takes all of the covers. So, the past two nights, while I've had the heat on, I've had no covers so I've been cold; and then it was freezing at the Jaguar game on Sunday.

So overall, my body is just not okay with everything and is deciding to rebel and make me sick. I'm taking an emergen-c pack everyday, eating a kiwi or two because of the high amount of vitamin C and just taking it easy which should help.

Today I am sharing the most gorgeous sequin dress from Lulu's! I love anything that sparkles, obviously. I also have a thing for rose gold. Since this dress combined the two, it was a no-brainer! This dress would be perfect for New Year's Eve or any holiday party. I highly recommend checking out their holiday collection and if you search sequin you will find this sparkly dress and more!

Happy Friday beauties!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic week. I've been stressing lately about how fast December, and the holiday season in general, is going. But, I'm going to try and take a step back (breathe haha) and really enjoy it like I always do. There is still so much time left which is what I should be focusing on!

Last week someone reached out and told me that my weekly round up posts are their favorite and that made my whole day! I'm really happy that I can share content that everyone loves and I love connecting my followers to other amazing content creators!

For those of us trying to stay as healthy as possible during this holidays, I have found the solution to the cookie cravings! Tone It Up shared some great recipes on their site that everyone will love!

Happy Thursday!

How is everyone doing on the Tone It Up holiday hustle challenge?! I have been really proud of myself for getting up every morning to workout before I go to work. So far I'm 4/4 days! The best part is, Chandler has been going to the gym with me in the mornings and it makes me so happy to work out with him. I have been asking him for a while to join me and he finally is! Score!

Today I am sharing 12 awesome gift ideas for the guy in your life. This could be your significant other, brother, friend, or even dad! I tried to find gifts for different types of guys and in different price ranges. I hope you all love it and everything is linked below!

Gift Guide | Dog and Cat Parents

Wednesday, December 6, 2017

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday. I still cannot believe it is December. I feel like it's going by so fast I can't even enjoy it! Speaking of time flying, that also means that I have limited time to buy gifts. I really need to get on that haha!

Today I am sharing my second gift guide, and the theme for today is dog and cat parents. Yesterday I did an Instagram poll for which gift guide you wanted to see today and it was a tie. So tomorrow, I will be sharing gifts for him!

Gift Guide | For Her

Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Happy Tuesday!

I had such a case of the Monday's yesterday you guys I'm not even joking. The day started off normal...at first! Chandler and I got up, went to work out, and his key fob to our apartment gym didn't work. Luckily a guy was coming to work out a few minutes later and we were able to get in. Then, I get home, I'm getting ready for work, everything is good and then I can't find my house keys. I searched for over an hour and still couldn't find them. I had to wait until the office opened so that I could get a new set of keys.

Needless to say, yesterday was a legit Monday. 😂 Anyways, I am very excited to share my first post from my first ever gift guide series! Starting today, I will be sharing a different gift guide every day. Today's gift guide features gifts that are perfect for your best friend, gal pal, or girlfriend! Of course I had to add some items that are a little sparkly. 💁

Everything is linked below the image!

TGIFFFFF!

I am so happy it is finally the weekend because this is the first weekend in two weeks that I am finally home. I can't wait to just relax and get stuff done around the house, including decorating!!! We will be getting our tree this weekend and I'm beyond excited.

Anyone else decorating this weekend? Or am I just late to the punch haha!

Today's finds are super great! I always love sharing what other bloggers and magazines are writing about because word of mouth is extremely important.

Entertainment:

Many articles were released on the huge announcement of the firing of the well-known Today Show host, Matt Lauer. Because I do not think there is one true media source, I will not be sharing any articles on this. I more so wanted to share this so that those who might not have heard of this announcement are up to date.

The saying "when we fall we get right back up" has never been more true about this next article. One of the models, Ming Xi actually fell during the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I felt so bad when I saw, however, the support her fellow angels had for her was amazing. Not only did Gizele make sure she was okay, she also made sure she still got her spotlight moment. Of course Ming Xi was upset after it, but I am extremely proud of her fellow Angels for helping her.

Also, did anyone else want to cry when Alessandra did her last walk EVER?! 😭

Travel:

I wasn't completely sure what category to put this next blog post under but I had to share it! The town that I'm from, Mount Dora, FL, is known for it's Christmas lights. I mean, we go hard. #biased #proud 😂 However, if I had to pick another area that is absolutely gorgeous it would be this adorable Christmas market that Sina from Happy Grey Lucky shared! These photos are beyond pretty and will get you in the Christmas spirit if you aren't already!
