What The Flock Monday?!

Oh Mondays. Don't they make you want to just yell What the flock?! I mean really, can't we have one more day between Sunday and Monday? Last week my Monday morning was awful! I woke up, got into an argument with my parents, then got to work and realized I left my work laptop at home...all before 9am. However, when I went back to get my laptop I did talk everything out with my parents so it worked out in the end!

Monday's can be really great and today I'd like to share with you some tips to help make yours even better! I hope you like them!


1) Create a fun playlist. I recently downloaded Spotify to my computer at work so as soon as I get there I put in my headphones and start jamming out! I also have a standing desk so I dance at my desk everyday. I do this as soon as I get there because it helps wake me up!

2) Find a great Yoga flow for the morning. I do my Tone It Up workout every morning and I love adding in my yoga stretches to the days where the workout isn't yoga. They really make your body feel great and the stretching really helps when you're sitting all day in a 9-5 job!

3) Prep your lunch and snacks the night before! This is probably one of the most important things for me because by the time I do my workout, make breakfast and take care of Diesel, there really isn't much time in the morning left for me to pack all of my food for the day and still make it to work by 8am. By prepping the night before (I like to prep as much as I can on Sundays so that I am prepared for the whole week), you save yourself so much time in the mornings that could be spent by adding some more yoga stretches or relaxing with your furbaby!

4) Plan something for Monday. This could be anything! It could be making a great breakfast in the morning or watching your favorite show Monday night. Whatever you choose, make it your own tradition. Giving yourself something to look forward to can instantly boost your mood when you're having the Monday blues!
